Situated in the eastern part of Central Lampung, you can find a nature reserve which usually called as the ?Way Kambas?. This place covers about 130.000 hectares areas. If you want to achieve the Way Kambas, then you can go from the asphalted road here. It will take about 2 hours drive from the city of Bandar Lampung to this place. In this place, you can see an elephant-training center, a place to train the wild elephants which are captured from the outside the area nearby.

We can say that there are about 500 elephants in Lampung, and there are about 250 of them situated in the Way Kambas. In this nature reserve, we can also find some other wild animal, like the bears, Sumateran tigers, tapirs, deer, wild pigs, and about 286 bird species. When you go to Way kambas, you will be able to see the process of training the wild elephants in the elephants training centre, and they do a lot of activities, such as playing football, swimming, and other interesting activities.

Beside that, you can also join and try to catch the wild elephants in the wildlife. You can also watch the elephants which are in the sexual mood which is very rarely found in the world. Way Kambas National Park is a great area situated in the area of raining forest.

So, if you are in Lampung area, then you should not miss this interesting place, which is about 35 km from Sukadana city. This Way Kambas area is also can easily accessible from Bandar Lampung or Sukadana.
