Mahabharata told the story of five brothers known as Pandawa and their conflict with hundred Korawa that is actually their cousin. They were disputed for the land Astina Kingdom. The peak of this dispute ended with a great war named Bharatayuddha at Kurusetra for eighteenth days. The story has heroes content in it but it also has several worthy values in Hindu makes this ancient work considered as holy inheritance for Hindus.
In Bali, that masterpiece had developed well and gave inspiration for art as well as culture in Bali. It influence can be seen through Balinese sculpture art and relief on temples, painting as far as toward the puppet show also or well known as wayang.
